About Jackson Coffee Co.

Commitment to Coffee and Community

Our story is really quite simple: We have been roasting and brewing really great coffee since September 2006. Our coffee is roasted in small drum roasters in our downtown Jackson store, which is located in the heart of Jackson’s business district. We do this because we know that there is nothing better than freshly roasted coffee so long as you’re starting with great beans and roasting them with passion.

In 2007, 2008, and 2009 we won awards for “Best Coffee House” in Jackson. We have won every year since opening, beating out the likes of Biggby Coffee, three Starbucks, Bearclaw Coffee, three Tim Hortons, Dunkin Donuts, and 5 other independent coffee houses.

In 2007, the Jackson Chamber of Commerce awarded Jackson Coffee Co. the coveted Brick Award. In 2008, the Chamber awarded us the Entrepreneurial Spirit Award. In the March 2009 edition, Jackson Coffee Co. was on the cover of Jackson Magazine, and was the feature article. Our commitment to coffee, as well as the remarkable flavor of our coffees and our commitment to our community, is the reason for our awards. It’s what we call “The J Way”.

A great coffee experience is also about shop environment. Our shops are real community treasures. They are real reflections of the communities that they’re in. Our shops hang local art and play local music. Free WIFI is available in all locations. And, unlike others, our shops smell like coffee. If you’ve ever been in a Jackson Coffee Co., you know what we’re talking about. It’s the benefit of roasting every day, right in the store.

Jackson Candy & Fudge Factory

Everyone has a vivid and pleasant memory of where they went as a child to get their favorite candy-whether it was the local corner store, a five-and-dime store, or their Grandma’s candy dish. The Jackson Candy & Fudge Factory is a nostalgic re-creation of that classic and bygone era.

While we sell the finest chocolates, mouthwatering fudges, old fashioned candies, lip smacking caramel corn, and frosted cinnamon nuts, what we really offer are memories. “I feel like a kid in a candy store!”, “I feel like I’ve stepped back in time”, and “I haven’t seen that since I was a kid!” are the most common things we hear. And that is precisely our goal. We walk our customers down memory lane and remind them of good things and good times.

Stop in our 1800’s building and put a smile on your face, or warm the hearts of your grandchildren. We invite you to take a spin on the prize wheel, watch the train circle the store or catch a glimpse of us popping the popcorn, creating the fudge, roasting the nuts, and filling the bins with candy. Come taste the memories!
